About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Working Foreman to join the BBV team delivering the UK’s largest infrastructure project, HS2.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supervising site operations while remaining hands-on when required, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily site activities.
- Lead site operatives and subcontractors to achieve programme targets.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks, and safety inspections.
- Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Assist with planning and resource allocation to maintain productivity.
- Liaise with Site Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Working Foreman within civil engineering, infrastructure, or major construction projects.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- SMSTS certification.
- CSCS card (Black or Gold).
- First Aid Certification.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience on large-scale infrastructure projects is advantageous.
