Swindon Borough Council are recruiting to an exciting new post to lead and embed the implementation of Swindon Borough Council’s Working Together Plan, acting as the strategic lead for co-production across the service and wider council partnerships.

This role will champion meaningful involvement of people with lived experience and proactively develop and support multi-member partnerships, Expert by Experience relationships and participation. This role will act as a lead facilitator in the implementation of co-production throughout Adult Services – ensuring people with lived experience are heard and are present throughout the development, implementation and evaluation of services, strategies, initiatives and programmes of work, to improve the effectiveness of services in Swindon.
The post holder will also work closely with the corporate Organisational Development (OD) team to embed inclusive practices and co-production principles throughout the Council, supporting both internal cultural transformation and external engagement.
The Post Holder Will Hold
- Relevant degree or diploma level qualification or relevant experience.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
The ability to travel throughout the Borough will be required.
The team operates a hybrid working model with all practitioners expected to be in the office for a minimum of two days per week.
You will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
