Swindon Borough Council are on an exciting journey to transform service delivery. We want our town to be the best it can be. Our ambitious vision in the new Swindon Plan is supported by realistic transformation programmes, with the people of Swindon at their heart. Because that’s who we’re doing it for – the communities and businesses that make our town great. As part of the Council, you’ll support a friendly local authority making decisions with real impact. It’s all for better public services. Better processes. And a better quality of life, for everyone. Join us, and Swindon will be better with you.

What Matters To Us

As experts by experience we believe that genuine co-production starts with listening, understanding, and valuing every voice in whichever way people communicate. As the Co-Production Lead you are someone who builds honest, respectful, and inclusive relationships that empower communities and challenges the status quo. You work in a person-centred way – with empathy, integrity, and accountability at the heart of everything you do. You are committed to creating spaces where diverse experiences are not only heard and understood but influence decisions. You're open, persistent, and flexible – someone who brings people together, reduces duplication, and strengthens collaboration. You’re proactive in overcoming barriers, connecting across organisations, and driving meaningful cultural change. Most importantly, you do what you say you will – with purpose, with people, and with impact.

Your next role

Swindon Borough Council are recruiting to an exciting new post to lead and embed the implementation of Swindon Borough Council’s Working Together Plan, acting as the strategic lead for co-production across the service and wider council partnerships.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
