Are you a proactive, experienced Workplace & Facilities Manager ready to lead operations at our Basingstoke head office?
We are looking for a skilled manager to lead our on-site Facilities team and ensure our workplace and facilities run seamlessly.
This is an exciting, hands-on management position where you will be instrumental in ensuring a safe and welcoming working environment for our employees, visitors, and contractors. Alongside this, you will oversee workplace operations, facilities management, health and safety compliance, supplier relationships, business continuity planning, and workplace improvement projects.
Specifically, you will:
- Lead, manage, and develop the Facilities and Office Services team
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of workplace and facilities services
- Manage relationships with landlords, managing agents, suppliers, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and workplace standards
- Manage facilities budgets, procurement activities, and expenditure controls
- Lead workplace improvement projects, office moves, and refurbishment activities
- Coordinate business continuity and disaster recovery planning for the site
- Support environmental and sustainability initiatives
- Oversee energy reporting requirements, including SECR and ESOS compliance
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the business
- Ensure an excellent workplace experience for employees and visitors

We will be looking for you to demonstrate the following:
- Proven experience in facilities management, workplace services, or property operations
- Experience leading teams and managing external service providers
- Good knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
- Experience managing budgets, contracts, and procurement activities
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, customer-focused approach
- An IOSH Managing Safely qualification (or a willingness to obtain one)
- A full UK driving licence
