Workplace Design - Creative Director

I’m helping Bigblue find a top candidate to join their team full-time for the role of Workplace Design - Creative Director.

You will shape the future of workplace design by leading creative vision and sustainable innovation.

Compensation:

GBP 100K - 140K/year

  • Commissions (:GBP50K/year)

Responsibilities and more:

Key responsibilities:

  • Set and champion the creative vision and design philosophy across the whole business unit.
  • Provide creative leadership and quality control across all live projects, working alongside Design Directors and their teams.
  • Act as the most senior creative voice with clients on flagship and high-profile projects.
  • Build and lead a high-performing creative team, attracting, developing, and retaining top design talent.
  • Shape the creative reputation externally, including awards, press, speaking opportunities, and industry events.
  • Partner with the marketing and business development teams to ensure Oktra's creative work is well told and well positioned in the market.
  • Champion sustainable, wellbeing-led, and B Corp aligned design principles across the studio's output.
  • Stay ahead of trends in workplace design, architecture, materials, and technology, bringing fresh thinking into the studio.
  • Lead creative input on major pitches, tenders, and new business opportunities.
  • Set the standard for creative culture, celebrating great work and championing best practice across every studio.
