Workplace Health & Wellbeing Senior Consultant – Employee Benefits Business
Isio’s fast-growing Employee Benefits business—spanning strategic benefit design, workplace health & wellbeing consulting, DC pensions, benefits technology, and employee engagement & support—is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to lead client relationships and drive business development within the Workplace Health & Wellbeing (WH&W) team.
This role is ideal for someone with large and complex benefit schemes experience, thriving in a fast-paced, agile environment, and committed to driving growth while delivering exceptional client outcomes.
About the Role
The WH&W Senior Consultant will manage and expand a portfolio of Risk and/or Health clients, providing expert strategic direction, consulting advisory services, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Consulting & Advisory
- Deliver strategic and expert advisory services across risk and health products, including large, complex schemes.
- Align employee benefit schemes with clients’ reward strategies.

Client Relationship Management
- Maintain and build long-term client relationships, including service improvement, renewal, and retention of existing accounts.
- Oversee the renewal and broking cycle, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and documentation accuracy.

Business Development & Prospecting
- Identify new business opportunities, contributing to tender responses and prospect presentations.
- Conduct detailed client requirement reviews, producing high-quality reports with findings, recommendations, and coverage specifications.

Market & Provider Knowledge
- Maintain a deep understanding of the health and risk market, emerging regulations, and provider relationships.
- Contribute as a subject matter expert to deliver innovative thought leadership.

Collaboration & Team Contribution
- Work across the Employee Benefits business to provide a holistic wellbeing approach for Isio clients.
- Act as a mentor and collaborative team player, supporting colleagues and team development.
Requirements
Essential Criteria
✔ Mandatory experience in the Health & Wellbeing industry, preferably with capabilities across both risk and healthcare markets. ✔ Client-facing experience in a large, well-established consulting or advisory organisation. ✔ Proven commercial acumen, with a track record of sustained revenue growth. ✔ Collaborative mindset with a commitment to mentoring, team development, and service excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
🔹 CII Certificate in Insurance (Cert CII), or progress towards a CII Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Dip CII / ACII).
