Location: Manchester International Office Centre (MIOC) – South Manchester Working Arrangement: Hybrid

This is a unique opportunity to become an Employment Investigation Specialist, working in our South Manchester office with a hybrid working model—ideal if you have a background in HR or employment law and want to focus exclusively on investigations.

As an Employment Investigations Specialist, You Will

  • Conduct impartial, evidence-based investigations into workplace issues.
  • Interview witnesses, meticulously review documentation, and craft clear, legally robust reports.
  • Ensure full compliance with employment law, organisational policies, and best practices.
  • Work independently while collaborating with a team of skilled investigation experts.

A note: This is not a generalist HR role. It’s a dedicated specialist position for those looking to refine their focus on investigations.


What We’re Looking For

Background:

  • CIPD Level 5+ qualification or
  • Legal qualification in employment law or equivalent expertise in employee relations.

Skills:

  • Exceptional analytical ability and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong written communication to produce precise, professional reports.
  • Independent problem-solving with the ability to synthesise complex information.

Mindset & Work Ethic:

  • Professional, impartial, and unwavering commitment to fairness and procedural integrity.
  • Understanding of ethical dilemmas in workplace investigations.
