This role is based within CU Apprenticeships Ltd, a sister company of Coventry University and part of the Coventry University Group.

The Role

As a Workplace Learning Advisor at Coventry University, you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring the progress of learners studying towards an apprenticeship programme
  • Producing reports for employers
  • Maintaining records in relation to the workplace learning and the quality of the experience
  • Escalating issues that may impact on the progress of learners or any areas of ESFA apprenticeship funding rules in line with compliance and regulations

You will work closely with course teams to ensure a robust level of understanding of the programme structure, gateway requirements and end point assessment to guide learners through the entirety of their apprenticeship programme.

You will provide support and encouragement to learners to manage their studies, using the Coventry University systems and platforms to reflect on and enhance their work based experiences.

This role is ideal for individuals wanting to make the transition into the Higher Education sector.

We encourage continual development within CU Apprenticeships Ltd and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to enroll on an appropriate apprenticeship programme to further develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours.

Our Successful Candidate

  • Educated to degree level or hold an equivalent professional body qualification. Or, you will have demonstrable relevant work experience.
  • A relevant apprenticeship assessor qualification or a coaching/mentoring qualification would be advantageous.
  • Experience of working in the apprenticeship and/or higher education sector would be advantageous.
  • You will have experience of working with key stakeholders and building working partnerships.
