Please note that roles based out of SJS or Sunbury will move to Timber Square, Southwark, from Q4 2027.

About the Role
Intelligence, Security and Crisis Management (ISC) provides geopolitical insight, emergency management support, and security protection across bp. As Workplace Security Projects Manager, you will lead a global portfolio of workplace security projects and act as the key link between Workplace, Security, and Technology teams. You will ensure security requirements are embedded into workplace, capital, and operational projects while driving consistency, efficiency, and best practice across bp's global sites.
Reporting to the ISC Global Security Manager, Security Operations, you will provide strategic oversight of security technology, project governance, budgets, and delivery performance.
What You Will Do:
- Lead and coordinate a global portfolio of workplace security projects.
- Oversee project delivery, budgets, performance metrics, and governance.
- Partner with Workplace, Security, and Technology teams to integrate security requirements into new and existing projects.
- Build strong relationships with regional security teams, project teams, and external providers.
- Drive continuous improvement and standardization across workplace security processes.
- Act as the security technology lead for workplace projects.
- Provide technical guidance on CCTV, access control, monitoring systems, and other physical security technologies.
- Develop security technology policies, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and drive corrective actions where needed.
- Produce reports and present project updates, risks, and performance insights to senior leaders.

What You Will Bring:
- Experience leading complex security projects, programmes, or portfolios across multiple locations.
- Strong understanding of physical security operations and risk management.
- Knowledge of security technologies including CCTV, access control, cloud-based solutions, and monitoring systems.
- Experience managing budgets, business cases, and project governance.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and build effective relationships across global teams.
- Experience developing and implementing security policies, standards, and processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Essential Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Project management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) or proven experience delivering projects from initiation through completion.
- Fluent English with strong communication and report-writing skills.
