Equans currently has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Works Co-ordinator to join our Facilities Management team at Central Middlesex University Hospital in Park Royal, NW10 7NS. This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday. On offer is an excellent salary and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- To be responsible for all pricing and executing all small works at the Hospital.
- To effectively manage and develop the service across the estate, using standards set by the Company.
- To contribute to the contract, maintaining a close liaison with the Client / EQUANS Management team in ensuring his/her requirements of delivering the small works are met.
- To lead on PPM site delivery ensuring deadlines are achieved & remedial actions are taken to ensure site compliance.
- To deliver high-quality Small Works projects within the Hospital estate by applying professional expertise and management control, ensuring added value, increased productivity, and cost-effective service. In some instances, certain works will have to be undertaken by the successful party so fabric/building services skills will be required.
- To exercise financial and commercial control in the management of expenditure and income within agreed budgets.
- To maximise profitability of Hard FM operations, reviewing regularly the strategy being adopted to ensure that costs are minimised.
Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday with a one hour unpaid break.
Who are we looking for?
- Must have previous experience within FM and working in a maintenance environment
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Able to work as part of a team and autonomously
- Must have good IT skills (able to use Microsoft Office and management systems)
- Well organised and able to prioritise workload
- Ability to multi-task in a busy work environment
- Knowledge of a CAFM system (Maximo) desirable
