Job Description

Works Coordinator

Location: Norse Group Head Office, Unity Place, Norwich, NR6 6EQ

Salary: £28,184.25 Pro Rata

Hours: 20 per week (Part-time – 6 Month Fixed Term Contract – Mon-Fri 4 hours per day)

Norse Group is a leading facilities management provider, built on strong partnerships with Local Government. We’re proud to deliver high-quality services across the UK—and now, we’re looking for a proactive and organised Works Coordinator to join our Norwich Head Office team.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Works Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our maintenance operations run smoothly. You’ll be the central point of contact for coordinating reactive and planned works, liaising with engineers, customers and external contractors to deliver a quality service.

  • Coordinating and allocating work requests to internal teams or external contractors in accordance with agreed processes
  • Raising purchase orders and processing invoices for completed works
  • Managing the full lifecycle of reactive and planned maintenance (PPM) tasks
  • Monitoring project progress and providing timely updates to clients
  • Supporting the Facilities Manager in prioritising tasks across the client portfolio
  • Handling work requests for our key client in our portfolio, ensuring prompt allocation and resolution
  • Tracking and updating work orders to ensure deadlines are met
  • Approving completed works and ensuring accurate invoicing

About You

We’re looking for someone with strong coordination skills and a customer-focused mindset. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and be confident juggling multiple tasks.

You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience in a works coordination or similar administrative role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively
  • Experience in Building Maintenance or Facilities Management (desirable)
