Works Manager - AMP8 Thames Water Framework Team
Location
Mogden STW, Twickenham
Hours
45 hours per week (0700 – 1700 Mon to Fri) - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a £100m framework scheme at Mogden STW, with an anticipated programme duration of 36+ months. As Works Manager, you'll oversee on-site operations and ensure the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of construction activities across significant infrastructure improvements. You'll be the vital link between site teams, subcontractors, and senior management, ensuring works are delivered to specification, quality standards, and programme requirements. This role offers the chance to make a real impact on essential water treatment infrastructure improvements.
Responsibilities
As a Works Manager, you'll be working within the AMP8 Thames Water Framework Team, supporting them in delivering improvements to the resilience of the Sludge and Digester Streams at Mogden STW. Your day-to-day will include:

- Planning and coordinating site works to ensure safe, timely, and cost-efficient delivery in line with project plans and specifications
- Providing health and safety leadership to operational delivery teams and ensuring compliance with all safety measures and documentation
- Managing General Foreman, Foreman, Site Supervisors, and other assigned resources to meet project objectives
- Controlling short and medium-term programmes to ensure timely and economical completion of works
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients and stakeholders to protect and enhance the company's reputation
What We're Looking For
This role of Works Manager is great for you if:
- You hold an HNC (Construction related) or Level 6 NVQ Construction Site Management qualification
- You have demonstrable knowledge and practical experience of site construction activities and management of staff, operatives, and subcontractors within regulated sectors
- You possess a Gold Supervisors or Black Managers Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card
- You hold a Site Manager Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification
- You're collaborative, trusted, and focused in your approach to delivering projects
