Title: Works Planner Salary: Circa £33,736 per annum Hours: Full Time (37 hours/week) Location: Maidenhead – with opportunity to balance with remote working
About The Role
We are seeking to appoint a Works Planner to join our busy Asset Management team, assisting in the management of daily planning and scheduling of work for our internal maintenance team.
The main purpose of this vital role is to coordinate the service delivery of all maintenance services. The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- The day-to-day scheduling of responsive, planned, and cyclical work
- Monitoring a range of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across the department
- Ensuring that team and department targets are met
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including:
- Maintenance Team & Housing Services
- Customer Care team
- Community Services
- Contractors
- Partnering agencies
- External customers
Requirements

Key Qualifications & Experience:
- GCSE standard minimum education (or equivalent)
- Experience using computerised databases/systems
- Experience in delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong priority management skills when dealing with competing demands
- Good understanding of responsive, planned, and cyclical repairs related to housing
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently to meet targets

Work Schedule:
- 7.5-hour shifts Monday–Thursday (08:00 – 17:15)
- 7-hour shift Friday (08:00 – 16:45)
