Listed Workshop Assistant / Engineering Assistant – 4 Week Contract

Location & Duration Fareham workshop Contract Start: Week commencing 29 June 2026 or 6 July 2026


About the Role Seeking a reliable Workshop Assistant / Engineering Assistant for a 4-week contract, supporting day-to-day operations at our Fareham facility. Duties include general labouring tasks, site tidying, material handling, assisting trades, and order preparation for collection and delivery. Some hands-on use of power tools (e.g., drills, angle grinders) is required; basic fabrication or metalworking experience would be advantageous.

  • Support workplace efficiency with general labouring duties
  • Tidy sites and maintain workshop cleanliness

Essential Requirements

  • Dependable timekeeping and punctuality (start times: 7:00am–4:00pm, Mon–Fri)
  • 5-point PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) issued and used at all times
  • Reliable daily commute to Fareham Workshop
