Location: Totton
Working Hours: Monday – Friday
Shift Timings: 07.30am – 16.00pm (1/2 hour unpaid break)
Salary: Dependent on experience
We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Cleaner to join our client based in their Totton Depot.
Duties
- General hygiene and cleanliness of workshop, staffroom facilities to include yard and car park areas
- Any deep cleaning of specific areas as requested
- Emptying the bins and removing scrap items placed in bin areas when required and at least once a day
- Segregating, general waste for recycle and environmental controlled waste
- Walk round every day first thing to do a yard check and litter picking
- Sweeping general areas as directed including work bays
- Using the floor cleaner to maintain workshop floor areas to a good standard
- Good husbandry of all workshop tools, tool/oil store, air lines etc
- Locking of customer vehicles parked in the yard, closing windows, tagging keys and placing them on the keyboard in the workshop controller’s office
- Valeting of Sales display vehicles and company courtesy vehicles and ensuring vehicles parked correctly
- Ensuring the EV fork truck is left on charge periodically so that it's always ready to use
- Steam cleaning of vehicles as required
- Could be assisting in the stores to keep the area clean and tidy assisting with stock checks
- Assisting Parts Department to include delivery and collecting parts
- Assisting Service Department to collect and deliver customer vehicles and present for MOT
- Flexibility to assist across all departments where required
- Any other duties requested by line manager

- Experience within a similar role and industry is essential.
