A trusted, family-run business with nearly four decades of experience in forklift trucks and materials handling solutions is looking for a skilled and motivated Workshop Engineer in Wokingham due to continued expansion.

Responsibilities as Workshop Engineer
- Service, repair, refurbish, and maintain a variety of forklift trucks and material handling equipment.
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
- Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) to ensure machinery meets high performance and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the workshop team to deliver outstanding service and support to our customers.

What We're Looking For In a Workshop Engineer
- Mechanical or electrical engineering experience (ideally in forklifts, plant, automotive, or similar sectors).
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City and Guilds) are beneficial but not essential: experience and attitude matter most.
- Must hold a valid UK driver's licence and be able to commute to the Wokingham workshop.
