The below job description will outline this position of: Workshop Engineer
Typically, this person will be involved in a range of activities surrounding the maintenance of engines and ancillary equipment. Such as engine servicing, repairs, ancillary repairs, and more. A solid mechanical fitter, generator engineer, marine engineer, agricultural, or HGV engineer will suit this position.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Workshop Engineer:
- Prepare and maintain engines and associated equipment
- Ability to diagnose faults on diesel engines and associated electrical systems
- Perform routine maintenance such as regular engine servicing as per manufacturers' maintenance schedules
- Produce accurate reports on dispatched and returned equipment
- Carry out Pre-Delivery Tests & Inspections to the highest standard
- Identify and plan works in a methodical manner to meet equipment dispatch targets
- Ensure a proactive health and safety culture is adhered to and maintained

Qualifications and Requirements for the Workshop Engineer:
- Ability to drive
- A relevant qualification in the Mechanical or Electrical field or time served
