Workshop Mechanical Fitter
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Salary: £37,500 – £42,000 (depending on experience) + overtime (paid at time and a half / double time)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
The Role
This is primarily a workshop-based position, focusing on the repair and maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment. While the role is mainly in-house, occasional site work will also be required.
You will work across a wide variety of rotating equipment, including:
- Motors
- Pumps
- Generators
- Fans
- Valves
- Shredders and augers
- Other mechanical assemblies

Experience working with similar equipment is highly desirable.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification (e.g. apprenticeship or equivalent accredited training)
- Have proven experience in mechanical fitting, ideally within a repair or service environment
- Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Be flexible to undertake occasional on-site work
