Job Description

Workshop Fitter required in Petersfield, East Hampshire

£40,980.81 per annum

40 hours per week

Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm

East Hampshire Norse is a highly successful partnership between Norse Group and East Hampshire District Council. One of our key pieces of work within East Hampshire is our waste collection service. We mobilise a large fleet of Refuse Collection Vehicles. Due to this, we are moving our vehicle maintenance and upkeep in-house and therefore seek a Workshop Fitter to join our team and assist in the maintenance of this fleet.

The role

As Workshop Fitter, you will be responsible for the upkeep of the company fleet of LGV and HGV vehicles ensuring all vehicles are maintained and kept up to industry standards. The bulk of these repairs will be minor and/or cosmetic to ensure our fleet is able to keep running their waste services.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
