Workshop Manager: Arbroath Depot

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a team of engineers and support staff to ensure 45+ workshop vehicles remain clean, safe, and reliable daily.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring staff, and maintaining high standards for PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) maintenance and cleaning.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations Department to meet Public Vehicle Regulation (PVR) compliance at all times.
- Diagnose and resolve complex engineering issues with accuracy and efficiency.
- Motivate and support a team to achieve targets while maintaining a strong company ethos.

Person Specification
Minimum Requirements:
- Appropriate engineering qualifications.
- Proven diagnostic skills in vehicle maintenance, particularly PCV.
- Supervisory or managerial experience within a workshop environment.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to ensure high levels of safety, cleanliness, and reliability in vehicle operations.
Desired Attributes:
- Energy, enthusiasm, and leadership to inspire and guide colleagues.
- Experience with fleet maintenance planning and workshop organisation.
- Familiarity with health and safety protocols in transport environments.
