About The Role

We now have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Workshop Manager to run our busy Workshop and team of technicians, ensuring that all targets are achieved and customers are satisfied with the service.

In this busy and varied role you will be responsible for managing performance and driving productivity, ensuring that the team are motivated to succeed in a safe working environment.

As Workshop Manager, you’ll ensure that equipment is available and we keep our assets moving to maximise revenue and customer satisfaction. This will involve close liaison internally, with the Hire Desk and externally, with our customers and spares suppliers, so naturally you will be a great communicator and collaborator.

About You

Role

To be considered for the Workshop Manager role, we’re looking for someone who has the drive and motivation to succeed and share in the success of the Depot/business, along with:

  • Experience of managing a team of employees in a workshop environment
  • Previous engineering experience and related knowledge within Power Generation.
  • Ideally you will have experience in Plant Maintenance
  • Experience of maintaining relevant equipment in a workshop environment
  • Good planning and organising skills with a methodical approach
  • An inquisitive mind and good problem solving abilities
  • A customer-focused approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literacy/IT skills
