Workshop Manager / Fitter 📍 Rochester | Full-Time | On-Site We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Manager / Fitter to join our growing team based in Rochester. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional who can lead workshop operations while ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standards. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring the efficient maintenance, repair, and management of construction equipment and machinery. Key responsibilities include: Scheduling and supervising maintenance and repair activities Diagnosing and resolving machinery and equipment issues Managing workshop operations to ensure maximum efficiency Maintaining accurate service records and inventory systems Promoting a safe, compliant, and well-organised working environment Working closely with the wider team to support project delivery and operational performance What We’re Looking For Strong technical knowledge of machinery maintenance and fault diagnosis Previous workshop management experience Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Strong communication and leadership abilities Experience maintaining records and managing inventory systems A proactive and reliable approach to work Package & Benefits Competitive salary Holiday allowance Company vehicle & fuel card Pension scheme Opportunity to become part of an Employee Owned Trust Bonus scheme If you are looking for a long-term opportunity within a supportive and growing business, we would love to hear from you.
