The opportunity

Working from our facility in Castle Donington, Derby, you will play an important role as TP Aerospace as you will be responsible for ensuring work is completed in accordance with procedures and ensure sufficient availability of qualified staff to carry out maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Your tasks will revolve around the daily operation of the workshop, including but not limited to:

  • Prepare aircraft wheel hubs and brake units for painting, including paint removal using approved equipment and methods.
  • Apply approved paint products in accordance with paint specifications, work instructions, and maintenance manuals.
  • Follow company procedures, Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), Standard Practice Manuals (SPM), and other operational documentation.
  • Ensure accurate process paperwork, parts control, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship through strong attention to detail and quality-focused execution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to all health, safety, COSHH, and risk assessment requirements.

We seek a talent that can identify with the below

  • Previous paint sprayer experience is desirable.
  • GCSE-level English and Mathematics (or equivalent) and at least one year of experience in a production, manufacturing, or similar fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, manuals, and documentation to meet customer requirements.
  • General knowledge of precision measuring tools, blasting equipment, cleaning machinery, and assembly/disassembly processes.
  • Experience working in a technical or production environment with a willingness to learn new skills and processes.
  • Comfortable using computer-based work processing systems and operational software.
  • A detail-oriented team player with strong manual dexterity, a proactive mindset, and a safety-first approach to work.
