Are you a skilled Plant Fitter who enjoys fault finding, carrying out repairs and keeping machinery running at its best?

We're working with a successful and expanding company within the construction equipment sector who are looking to strengthen their engineering team with the addition of an experienced Plant Fitter based at their North West London depot.

This is a workshop-based position where you'll be responsible for maintaining a varied fleet of plant equipment. From routine servicing through to complex diagnostics and repairs, you'll play a key role in ensuring machines are safe, reliable and ready for hire. There may also be the occasional requirement to attend customer sites to carry out breakdowns or repairs.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • Experience maintaining and repairing construction plant equipment
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills
  • The ability to diagnose issues efficiently and work independently
  • A methodical approach with a high standard of workmanship
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude
  • A full UK driving licence

An NVQ in Plant Maintenance or a similar engineering qualification would be advantageous, although relevant industry experience is equally valued.
