Work Schedule
Monday-Friday days (45 hours per week) with occasional flexibility required.
About the Role
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced HGV / PSV Technician, Chargehand or Workshop Controller to step into a leadership role while remaining technically involved.

This Role Will Suit:
- An experienced HGV Technician, PSV Technician, Senior Engineer, Chargehand, Workshop Controller or Workshop Supervisor.
- Someone with a Level 3 Heavy Vehicle qualification (or equivalent) and strong mechanical knowledge.
- A confident communicator who enjoys supporting, motivating and developing others.
- Someone comfortable managing workshop priorities, inspections, repairs and compliance requirements.
- A hands-on engineer who leads by example and takes pride in delivering high-quality standards.
- PCV licence advantageous, although not essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily workshop activities, ensuring maintenance, repairs and inspections are completed safely and efficiently.
- Allocate planned and reactive work across the engineering team.
- Support technicians with technical issues, diagnostics and repair solutions where required.
- Carry out quality checks and ensure work meets company and legislative standards.
- Monitor fleet availability and help minimise vehicle downtime.
- Coach, support and develop engineering team members.
- Maintain accurate engineering records and support compliance requirements.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure vehicles are safe, reliable and available for service.
Commutable From
Kidderminster, Stourport-on-Severn, Bewdley, Worcester, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Droitwich Spa, Stourbridge, Hagley, Birmingham, Wolverhampton and surrounding areas.
