Summary of vacancy
We’ve got a great opportunity to join us as a Workshop Supervisor. Responsible for looking after our team of HGV Technicians we’re looking for an established supervisor or an experienced technician who has the aptitude and desire to take on a new challenge.

About The Role
- Location: Preston
- Salary: £56,352.88 per annum
- Working: 45 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 5.30 pm
- Benefits:

What will I be doing?
With an eye for detail and a passion for excellence as the supervisor to our team of HGV Technicians you’ll be hardworking with a commitment to the highest standards of vehicle safety.
Day To Day You Will
- Be responsible for Job allocation to the team of technicians
- Conduct Vehicle QC checking and spot checks
- Work with our transport departments on vehicle availability
- Prioritize work to meet demands of the business
- Ensure cost control on parts and external maintenance
- Carry out equipment checks in line with policy
- Manage health and safety, near miss reporting
What You’ll Bring To The Role
- Previous experience in a supervisory/team leader role is preferred
- A great communicator who can act as the bridge between the workshop and the office
- Your calm nature and methodical approach help you easily work under pressure
- A natural problem solver
- You’ll have great computer skills
- A Class one licence is advantageous
