Job Purpose
To be responsible for the operational support requirements for asset management, mobilisations, equipment returns, stores, and yard area of STATS while ensuring delivery of a quality product and service is continually achieved to both internal and external customers.

Main Responsibilities
- Assist with workshop duties including mobilisation / demobilisation and equipment to standards and procedures set out by STATS.
- Assist with yard and stores duties including supporting the management of internal movements of materials and stock in accordance with STATS procedures and processes.
- Use of Microsoft Dynamics AX to record inventory transactions, manage stock movements, and complete stock transfers in line with operational requirements.
- Assist in the upkeep of the housekeeping standards ensuring full control visibility of materials and equipment.
- Support other departments as and when required. This may include various broad tasks such as manual handling, cleaning, assembly/disassembly of tools, and general labouring.
- Ensure STATS vehicles are always kept tidy and well maintained.
- Ensure deliveries and collections on behalf of STATS are undertaken in a timely and safe manner to meet both internal and external customer expectations.
- To support the long-term development, implementation, and maintenance of STATS Group stock control systems and procedures.
- To support and assist in the overall delivery of company objectives.
- Participate and complete in lift plans for all lifting activities undertaken on a daily basis and recorded accurately.
- Complete daily forklift checks and ensure these are recorded accurately.

Individual Quality and Safety Responsibilities
- To comply with STATS and Client quality, safety, and environmental management systems and procedures at all times.
- Ensure all accidents / incidents / near misses / hazards are immediately reported and relevant paperwork is complete.
Internal Training Requirements
STATS Mandatory Courses Including:
- Environmental Awareness
- COSHH Awareness
- GDPR Awareness
- Management of Change
- Near Miss Reporting
- All other relevant courses
STATS Internal Course - Basic Level:
- Tecno Plug
- BISEP
- Remotes
- Hot Tapping etc.
EXPERIENCE / Competence / Skills / Knowledge
- Previous experience in a workshop / yard / store’s environment is preferred
- Knowledge of warehouse operations
- Good organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines
- Forklift license up to 16T (B2 License)
- Manitou experience
- Understanding of environment, health, and safety.
- Basic level of understanding in materials, stores, and yard functions and responsibilities

Qualifications
- Mechanical / Yard / Stores / Driving Experience
- Full clean driver's license
Personal Qualities
- A positive attitude and pleasant manner.
- Ability to be flexible in working practices (hours, activities, etc)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work both as part of a team or as an individual.
- Appreciation and understanding of environmental and health and safety responsibilities.
- Ability to manage a large number of varied tasks.
