Job Description: Workshop Tutor - Adult Care

Are you an experienced Adult Care professional with a passion for developing others? We're looking for a dedicated Workshop Tutor - Adult Care to deliver engaging, high-quality training and support to learners undertaking Adult Care apprenticeships.

This is an exciting opportunity to use your industry expertise to help apprentices build the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to thrive in their careers, while contributing to an outstanding learning experience.

£28,000.00

Hours

36.5 hours a week

Remote Based Position

As a Workshop Tutor, you will plan, prepare, and deliver interactive workshops for Adult Care apprentices, creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment that supports achievement and progression.

Working remotely as part of a collaborative team, you'll use a variety of teaching methods and digital tools to bring learning to life, provide personalized learner support, and ensure training content remains relevant, compliant, and aligned to industry standards.

Please note there will be a need to deliver occasional evening workshops (approximately once per week).

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and impactful workshops across Adult Care apprenticeship programmes.
  • Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes participation and knowledge retention.
  • Adapt delivery methods to suit different learning styles, abilities, and accessibility requirements.
  • Utilize presentations, case studies, discussions, and practical activities to enhance learner engagement.
  • Provide one-to-one coaching, guidance, and support to apprentices throughout their journey.
  • Design and administer assessments to evaluate learner progress and understanding.
  • Deliver timely, constructive feedback that supports learner development and achievement.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and the creation of innovative learning resources.
  • Review and update training materials to ensure compliance with current legislation, standards, and apprenticeship requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support successful programme delivery.
  • Maintain accurate learner records, attendance data, and assessment outcomes.
  • Keep up to date with developments, best practice, and emerging trends within the Adult Care sector.
  • Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of delivery.
  • Comply with GDPR, data protection, and company policies.

Essential Experience & Knowledge

  • Extensive experience within the Adult Care sector.
  • Experience working in a supervisory, senior, or management role within Adult Care.
  • Experience delivering training, teaching, or facilitating learning, ideally within apprenticeships or adult education.
  • Strong understanding of Adult Care regulations, standards, and best practice.
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship programmes, work-based learning, or further education.
  • Experience adapting learning approaches to meet diverse learner needs.
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently while contributing to a wider team.
  • Level 3 qualification in Adult Care or a related field (such as Health & Social Care, Nursing, Healthcare, or Social Work).
  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent teaching qualification.
