About the Role

As a Workspace Experience Ambassador, your mission is to help build and lead a supportive and social community. You’ll create a friendly atmosphere and serve as the primary point of contact for employees and their visitors.

Your focus is on delivering an unrivalled experience, building long-term relationships, and using workspace data to enhance the overall experience.

Key Responsibilities

Community Engagement

  • Be the "go-to person" within the business for workspace assistance and enrolment in community events.
  • Deliver an exceptional experience to colleagues to help them flourseach linked to community wellness and engagement.
  • Take proactive ownership of hybrid workspace services, ensuring the space is well-mainuted and complaints are minimal.

  • Build relationships and encourage colleague interaction through:
    • Organising engaging, high-participation events
    • Mapping event engagement and participation.
  • Develop a long-term community with a focus on:
    • Workplace Well-Being – Support colleagues through new workspace challenges and opportunities.
  • Partner with other Experience Ambassadors to deliver a consistent vision.

Day-to-Day Tasks

  • Onboarding Support

    • Orientate new hires with welcome packs, site tours, and access arrangements.
    • Ensure a valued and welcome onboard experience.
  • Workspace Analyst & Improver

    • Collect and analyse workspace data to assess engagement and trends.
    • Engage with colleagues to understand workstyle habits and make improvements.
  • Experience Documentation & Reporting

    • Draft stakeholder plans and report on engagement activities, successes, and community meetings.
    • Provide weekly workspace experience updates (event calendars, data insights, and change management).
  • Event Visionary

    • Collaborate to build your local event calendar, aligning with the company’s wider strategy.
    • Synergise with ERGs, HR, contractors to promote community engagement.
    • Foster cross-industry collaborations through the event initiative—for example, craft-making workshops or yoga sessions with external influencers.
  • Communication & Promotion

    • Gatekeep digital signage and communication networks.
    • Craft and distribute content (blogs, articles, social media, newsletters, videos).
    • Partner with the communications team for event collateral and promotion materials.
  • Virtual Community Manager

    • Engage with the online community and address requests inquiries.
    • Resolve touch-point issues proactively with personal follow-ups when needed.
  • Service Standards & Improvement

    • Maintain updated customer journey maps.
    • Benchmark and enhance service standards based on engagement data.

Technology Enthusiast

  • Collaborate with the BI&T team to introduce innovative tech solutions that:
    • Enhance customer experience and engagement with events.
    • Improve efficiency through technology.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years in customer service, events, sales, or business support. (Hybrid/corporate real estate experience is a plus—start-up exposure also welcomed)

  • Basic tech skills:

    • MS Office proficiency, digital etiquette (with the ability to adapt to new tools).
  • Availability & Adaptability:

    • Prepared to work in shifts and occasionally outside of core office hours.
  • Core Competency:

    • Excellent communication—(written and verbal).
    • Negotiation skills, coordination, and networking.
    • A strong team player—accountable, mindful, and exceeding expectations for users/ team.
  • Engagement Orientation:

    • Comfortable collecting and translating engagement feedback into service improvements.
    • Knowledgeable about emerging hybrid workspace technology.
  • Personal Traits:

    • Calm under pressure.
    • Energetic, upbeat, and customer-focused personality.
