Worldwide Service Engineer – Omagh
Location: Omagh Reporting to: Technical Manager Hours of Work: 39¾ hours per week
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, this role involves providing first-class global service to dealers and customers by performing commissioning, training, servicing, fault-finding, and offering technical support on our range of mobile crushing and conveying equipment. You’ll be an integral part of our dedicated service team, demonstrating technical expertise, proactive problem-solving, and an unwavering commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
As Worldwide Service Engineer, you will:
- Work as part of a service team, delivering dedicated field support to dealers and global customers.
- Conduct mechanical and electromechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mobile crushing and screening plants.
- Perform commissioning and on-site training for dealers and customers across multiple regions.
- Generate detailed technical site reports, risk assessments, and method statements to ensure compliance and safety.
- Support new product development, including service visits to prototype units for evaluation.
- Provide remote technical assistance to dealers and customers when required.
What You’ll Bring
Experience & Qualifications
- A proven hands-on mechanical/electromechanical track record, ideally within the crushing and screening sector.
- Strong general knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance, with expertise in:
- Diesel and hydraulic system fitting/fault-finding
- Auto-electrics troubleshooting
- Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical schematics (desirable but not compulsory).
- AC electrical qualifications/experience (desirable, but not essential).
- Arc/MIG welding qualifications/experience (desirable, but not essential).
- Valid clean driving licence and passport.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
