Join us in shaping the worship of our Church, youth and City.

The successful candidate for the role of Worship Development Lead will play a central role in the life and ministry of St Paul’s, leading and developing our music worship ministry and helping to nurture a culture of Christ-centred, Spirit-led worship. We are seeking a passionate, gifted and capable Worship Leader with a strong grounding in the theology of worship. Crucially, you need to be committed to raising up others, with a particular heart for developing worship leaders, mentoring younger musicians and equipping people to grow in their gifts and confidence.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This is an exciting and strategic role with opportunities not only within St Paul’s, but also across the Deanery and city of Salisbury. Alongside leading and developing worship ministry within the church, the Worship Development Lead will establish a Worship Ministry Hub to offer support, encouragement and training opportunities for worship leaders and teams in other churches. The role will also contribute to city-wide worship gatherings and mission initiatives, particularly in partnership with young people across Salisbury.
