Dear Candidate,
Christ Church Peckham is looking for a Worship Pastor who is hungry to see revival to join our growing team. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to play a foundational role in a church that is experiencing a remarkable season of growth and renewal in the heart of South London.
A Church on the Move
Since our Vicar, Fernando Carrillo, was installed in June 2024, Christ Church Peckham has grown from around 30 adults to over 150, with 54 people baptised. New ministries have launched across the board — from an evening service to student outreach and prison ministry to Alpha courses and connect groups. We have hosted a week of 24/7 prayer and worship, and we believe this is only the beginning.
The Role
As Worship Pastor, you will be at the heart of our vision to build a house of 24/7 prayer and worship. This is both a spiritual and strategic leadership role. You will lead worship across services, build and develop a team of musicians and vocalists, and help create an environment where people encounter God in a real and transformative way.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
