WTG Client Representative (Offshore Wind)

Matchtech is supporting our client in recruiting for a WTG Client Representative to support a major offshore wind installation project commencing in October 2026 and running through to March 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate daily records of installation activities throughout project execution.
- Ensure approved procedures, risk assessments, and quality requirements are followed by contractors.
- Promote and support a strong safety culture while monitoring quality performance.
- Lead by example and work collaboratively with project and contractor teams offshore.

- Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPRs).
- Ensure required signatories complete DPR documentation.
- Review and remain up to date with relevant RAMS and QHSE documentation.
- Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks, and safety discussions.
- Witness key installation activities and monitor operations where safe and practical.
- Participate in safety walks alongside HSE representatives and contractor personnel.
Deliverables
- Daily reporting of load-out, transit, positioning, and installation activities.
- Completion and submission of DPRs.
Essential Requirements
- Valid GWO certification: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, Enhanced First Aid, Fire Awareness, and Manual Handling.
- HUET, STCW 2010, OPITO or BOSIET plus EBS certification.
- Current offshore medical including Chester Step Test.
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent HSE qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant offshore wind experience within a similar package area.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and reporting systems.

- LOLER and CDM knowledge.
- Marine awareness qualifications relevant to the role.
- Experience with offshore reporting and incident management systems.
