WTG T&I Package Lead – Major Offshore Wind Project (UK)

The planning, coordination and execution of wind turbine generator (WTG) transportation & installation (T&I) in alignment with key project metrics—programme, budget, quality—while adhering to industry best practice.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary, matrix team, ensuring the safe, timely and value-optimised delivery of offshore works.
  • Negotiating and managing transport & installation contracts in partnership with Contract Management, Procurement, Legal, and other specialist functions.
  • Developing and maintaining the package programme and budget with support from specialist teams, while managing risk, opportunities, and cost efficiency.
  • Ensuring HSE compliance and strong collaboration with the Principal Contractor to meet regulatory standards.
  • Providing reports to the project leadership team in line with the Project Management Framework and governance requirements.

To be considered, applicants must meet the following:

  • Hold a degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering, Marine Logistics, Renewable Energy, or a closely related engineering or science discipline.
  • Demonstrate significant experience in project management of successful and safe offshore wind farm developments.
  • Display extensive expertise in the transportation and installation of WTGs, with a deep technical understanding of the field.
  • Have experience with offshore construction contracts and vessel chartering.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive HSE competence, including offshore construction and site management experience.
