We’re WWF, the leading global environmental charity, and we’re bringing our world back to life. We’ve been protecting nature’s wonders for more than 60 years. And now we’re leading the way not just to protect our natural world but to restore it for generations to come. By working globally with communities, governments, companies and others, together we can act and transform our world.

The WWF-UK Impact Committee

The WWF-UK Impact Committee plays a critical role in supporting the Board of Trustees. They assess, challenge and help shape WWF-UK’s externally facing work across science, programmes, partnerships, policy, advocacy and communications.

There is now a strategic volunteering opportunity available for new members to join us and help address today’s global environmental challenges with insight from across a number of disciplines, sectors and geographies. That is why we are looking for individuals who bring deep expertise and fresh perspectives, alongside a strong commitment to our mission.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
