Job Description
We are looking for a competent Miller to join a busy, fast paced machine shop based in the Hamworthy Poole area on a standard day shift pattern. This role requires strong setting/programming experience with XYZ controls and would be working with a range of materials such as; Aluminium, Mild steel, Stainless steel & various composites. The ideal candidate will have worked specifically on a XYZ Prototrak mill, producing small to medium size batch work.
The following characteristics would be necessary to be successful within the role: –
- Strong problem solving skills

- Strong attention to detail
- Strong team player
- Ability to read & understand technical drawings
Shifts
- Standard day shift 37.5 hrs
- Regular overtime available

Holiday
- 1.66 days holiday per complete calendar month worked for the first year (maximum 20 days per 1st full year), rising 1 day per year to a max 25 days after 5 years continuous service. Birthday off as holiday (subject to conditions)

- Reading, Drawings, CNC, XYZ, Debur, Communication, Teamwork, Numeracy, Accuracy, Inspection, Hand tools.

Relevant Experience:
- Minimum 3 years similar experience required.
Existing Qualifications (Edu/Certs/Driving):
- GCSE or equivalent.
