Chisnell Design is looking for exceptional Yacht Exterior Designers to join our team.
With a number of projects in build and many more to develop over the coming months and years, you will need to have a passion for yacht design, enthusiastic attention to detail, and a desire to create the very finest yacht designs.
This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to join a growing design studio, with great experience and wonderful Clients. You will have a rare opportunity to be involved with and influence every level of the design process from conception, to development, to Client presentation and more.

The right attitude is as important as the right skill set - we are looking for someone who is willing to learn, develop, and bring their creativity and energy to our projects and team. We are interested in candidates ranging from graduate level to those with high-level experience within the yacht design industry. The role level and package will be tailored for the right candidate(s).
We would like to see evidence of:
- Fabulously creative 2D hand sketching and 2D CAD drawings (Photoshop, AutoCAD LT as a minimum)
- Exceptional 3D surfacing / modelling skills with accuracy (Rhino)
- Inspiring rendered image creation (V-Ray, Keyshot or similar)
- Lovely presentation skills (InDesign)
- A degree in yacht, automotive, industrial, or product design
- A thorough understanding of proportion, surfaces, and current trends
- A love of all things boating
- You must have existing eligibility to work in the UK

This is a full-time, primarily in-studio role, based at our waterside Studio on Lymington’s historic Town Quay.
