Yard Assistant

Role Overview

In this role you will work as part of our external team of staff.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Assisting customers
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Picking and checking orders
  • Storing stock safely
  • Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.

This role will involve working alternate Saturday mornings.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A Counterbalance Forklift License is preferred.
  • Building industry knowledge would be a distinct advantage.
  • Experience in a similar role would be preferred but not essential.

You will be working within a close-knit team and will be dealing with our customers on a daily basis, so we are looking for someone that:

  • Has the likeability factor
  • Has excellent customer service
  • Hard working
  • Positive attitude
  • Good attention to detail.
