External Familiarisation Officer (Warehouse)
About the Role
MKM is the leading independent builders’ merchant in the UK, established in 1995. In this position, you’ll work as part of our external team within our industry maintenance focused branches, assisting with critical tasks while engaging directly with customers.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Assisting customers with queries and requirements
- Providing excellent customer service throughout interactions
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely
- Picking, checking, and verifying orders
- Storing stock securely and following health and safety guidelines
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Working alternate Saturday mornings as part of the role

Qualifications and Skills
- Preferred:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Full UK driving licence, essential for this role
- Advantageous:
- Experience in the building/construction industry
