Yard Assistant – Fixed Term (40 Hours Per Week)
Location: Southampton
Salary: £12.71 per hour

The Role
As a Yard Assistant, you’ll be key to serving our customers and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving customers in the yard (both manual handling and forklift operations)
- Loading/unloading lorries
- Receiving, storing, and handling products from suppliers, including associated paperwork
- Maintaining yard housekeeping
Requirements
- Counterbalance forklift licence (preferred, but training can be provided)
- Full driving licence
- Advantageous but not mandatory: Knowledge of building materials
- Must demonstrate:
- A friendly and professional manner
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to delivering high standards of customer service
