Job Opportunity: Yard Marshall at New Super Hub in Barnsley
We have an exciting opportunity for a Yard Marshall to join us at our new Super Hub in Barnsley, working any 5 days in 7 on the PM shift- 14:00-22:00

Your Purpose (in a nutshell)
Working closely with the Gatehouse, Yard Controllers and the warehouse operation, you will ensure that trailers and contents are correct so that all SLA are achieved.
You will be accountable for:
- Carrying out full yard checks and ensuring the yard management system is accurate.
- Ensuring the Warehouse Management are given regular updates on the yard.
- Providing cover for the Gatehouse Co-ordinator as required.
- Undertaking full yard checks in line with the required standards and at the compulsory intervals whilst on shift.
- Communicating any issues and daily performance to the Yard Controller on shift to maintain yard compliance.
- Ensuring that no unauthorised persons are permitted in prohibited areas.
- Ensuring that all H&S and hygiene requirements are adhered to in the Gatehouse and Yard whilst on shift.
