Yard Operative
Yard Operative – Worksop (S80 3AT)
Overview
Are you a hands-on, hardworking individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a Yard Operative to support the smooth running of our busy stores and production operation.
Location: Worksop, S80 3AT Hours: 40 hours per week (06:00–16:30, Monday to Thursday) Hourly Rate: Up to £15.85 ph DOE
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering parts and materials to production areas
- Unloading deliveries and storing stock safely
- Maintaining cleanliness across the yard, stores, and site
- Emptying production bins and supporting waste management activities
- Assisting with vehicle movements around site (following training)
- Ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently
What We’re Looking For
Essential Criteria
- Forklift truck licence/experience, including B2 category
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, stores, goods-in, or despatch environment
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices
- Excellent attention to detail
