Yard Operative
Yard Operative – Chester Operation Centre (CH5 2QZ)
About the Role
We are looking for a Yard Operative to join our team at our Chester Operation Centre.
You’ll be working Monday to Friday, ensuring a strong work-life balance with no bank holiday shifts required. Our Yard Operatives form the backbone of our operation, thriving in outdoor environments in all weather conditions and sharing a passion for vehicles. You’ll respond promptly to customer needs, maintain vehicles to our high standards, and take images of vehicles using a handheld device.
This role is based in Chester, CH5 2QZ with an annual salary of £29,046 per annum.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistently and promptly respond to customer requests
- Complete service orders to set deadlines
- Ensure vehicles are stored and maintained according to customer and company standards
- Operate a handheld device to take images of vehicles

Requirements
Skills & Qualifications Needed:
- A full driving licence
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal)
- A strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in using handheld devices and basic IT applications
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
