Employment Type: Temp - until end of December 2026

Location: Peterhead

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 40 hrs per week

Reporting to the NUK CCU Team Leader, the CCU Yard Operative will be responsible for the inspection and allocation of ASCO's NUK fleet in accordance with Aberdeen based client demand. The role will cover on/offhire inspections of CCU's, while coordinating on-base stock levels with the CCU Fleet Controller. The role will predominantly be based at Albert Quay however cover will be required at ASCO's satellite sites when activity dictates.

Roles & Responsibilities

General

  • Conduct return / pre-use inspections of CCU's (full training to be given)
  • Allocation of CCU's in accordance with both internal and external demand
  • Liaise with operational teams to ensure CCU availability and timely deployment
  • Provide administrative support to the CCU Administration team as required
  • Assist with forklift duties when operational activities dictate

Minimum Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of CCU operations
  • Forklift license (B2)

Minimum Competencies (Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours)

  • Maintains positive work relationships
  • Strong organisational and time-management skill
  • Strong attention to detail

Desirable Qualifications/Competencies

  • Full UK Driving license
  • Previous experience in an operational, warehouse, logistics environment

HSSEQ

  • In partnership with the HSSEQ department, ensure the continuous improvement of safety and environmental performance and compliance to all laws, regulations and industry standards/codes.
  • Reports all incidents or breaches of policy or regulations to the line manager.
  • Fully endorse the ASCO ‘Stop the Job’ policy and commitment to proactive intervention where an unsafe act or condition is observed.
  • Adherence to the ASCO’s integrated management system ensuring document control and improvements to key processes is maintained.
