Location: Jewson Major Build Solutions, Challow branch Address: Challow Station, Faringdon, SN7 8NT Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8am – 5pm, Friday: 8am – 4.30pm Experience Required: No Fork Lift Truck (FLT) experience necessary – training provided

As a Yard Operative MHE (Manual Handling Equipment) Driver Level 2, you will play a crucial role in securing outstanding service for our customers while supporting our team in the branch. Key Responsibilities
- Be the first and last point of contact for customers visiting the branch – ensuring a fantastic customer experience.
- Provide exceptional service before, during, and after customer interactions.
- Get to know the 1,100+ product lines we supply to deliver accurate guidance.
- Assist with customer orders, including loading and unloading vehicles using a Fork Lift Truck (FLT) to minimise manual handling (training provided).
- Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products promptly.
- Maintain stock levels in the yard area, including conducting regular stock counts.
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance and actively demonstrate commitment to personal and colleague safety.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify and suggest opportunities for improvement.

Requirements
No prior FLT experience is necessary as training will be provided. Ideal candidates will be proactive team players who:
- Bring a customer-first mentality.
- Take responsibility for their work and initiative to enhance processes
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
