Wilsons Auctions is the largest independently owned auction house in the UK & Ireland. We currently have a requirement in our Belfast branch (BT36 4PP) for a Full-Time Yard Operative.

The successful candidate will be based at the above site and duties will include the following:

Duties

  • General Yard Duties
  • Site Hygiene
  • Manual Handling
  • Parking weekly vehicle sales
  • Sales preparation for car auctions and small tool
  • Loading and unloading plant items from customers

Essential Criteria

  • Hold a full clean UK driving licence for three years or more
  • Be capable of multitasking and working under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in customer care
  • Key holding
  • HGV or other commercial licences

Experience

  • Driving: 3 years (required)
  • Warehousing: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification

  • HGV Licence (preferred)
  • Forklift Licence (preferred)

This position is for a fixed term of 12 months
