Description

Enva Specialist is hiring a Yard Operator to join the Paisley depot on a permanent basis.
Work is Monday-Friday, 6am to 6pm with eligibility for overtime.

In this role, you will operate the yard at the Paisley site, loading and unloading vehicles, sorting and segregating waste types.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out all duties in accordance with relevant safety, health, environmental, quality, and legislative requirements
  • Maintain housekeeping at acceptable standards
  • Ensure the efficient operation of plant and equipment from start up to shut down
  • Ensure tanks/vessels/reactors are loaded correctly
  • Process to batch specifications
  • Work to deadlines
  • Communicate with Site Management to maximize process capacity
  • Communicate effectively with Lab staff for process requirements
  • Report equipment defects promptly to management/Site Engineer
  • Ensure delivery/dispatch vehicles are dealt with promptly
  • Operate plant ensuring maximum efficiency and throughput
  • Ensure all material within working area is suitably packaged and stored
  • Cover in any other areas of the site for which you have been trained as and when required
  • Cover other shift patterns when required
