Yard Sales Adviser

Yard Sales Advisor – Full-time Role 🏗️✨

Location: Bury Branch Company: Jewson, part of STARK UK Contract: Full-time Hours: Monday–Friday: 07:00–16:30, Every other Saturday: 08:00–12:00

Responsibilities

As a Yard Sales Advisor, your duties will include:

  • Customer Engagement:

    • Acknowledge every customer and tailor your service to their current and future needs.
    • Use open questions to build long-lasting relationships and exceed expectations.
    • Ensure supremely efficient, friendly, and welcoming service at all times.
  • Operational Excellence:

    • Maintain high standards across the yard, counter, and shop floor.
    • Safely operate machinery, including forklifts (training provided), for tasks like:
      • Offloading & restocking
      • Picking, packing, and loading vehicles (manual & mechanical)
  • Support sales initiatives to boost revenue, margins, and service standards.

  • Product Knowledge:

    • Continuously expand your expertise in core and specialist products to assist customers effectively.
