Yard Assistant – Join Travis Perkins: Build for the Future

About the Role

As a Yard Assistant, every day brings variety. You’ll be at the frontline, helping deliver exceptional customer service—building lasting relationships where you might even recognise names.


What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities: You’ll be based in our yard, supporting critical operations daily:

  • Process customer orders efficiently—ensuring satisfaction every time.
  • Safely load and unload customer vehicles and company deliveries with professionalism.
  • Deliver building products from supplier suppliers, accurately booking them into the branch warehouse.
  • Use of a forklift is ideal, but full on-site training is provided.
  • Uphold strict health and safety standards—maintaining a tidy, secure, and organised workplace at all times.
