Yard Shunter

Shifts are on a rotational basis:
- Monday to Friday 06:00 - 16:00 £14:48 P/H.
Responsibilities
- Loading trailers and securing goods safely
- Working in a safe manner at all times
- Performing trailer movements in our busy regional yard
- Driving a Tug on-site so previous experience would be an advantage
- All work is yard based, no road work is expected
- You must have shunting experience as some manoeuvres are in confined spaces

What You Need To Succeed At XPO
- Must be flexible in working hours
- Previous Terberg shunt unit experience is desirable but training will be provided
- Ideally LGV / HGV C+E / Class 1 Entitlement on your licence
- If a trained yard shunter without HGV Class 1, we will look to upskill your current licence
- No more than 6 points, with no DD or DR endorsements present
