We’re looking for a hardworking and customer-focused Yard Team Member to support the day-to-day operations of our yard and store. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help maintain a safe, organised, and welcoming environment for our members and customers, while working collaboratively with colleagues across the business.

About The Role

  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: Part-time
  • Hours of Work: 15 Hours per week, working Tuesdays and Saturdays. Candidates will need to be available across the varied shift patterns starting from 07.45am and be available til 18.15pm.

As a Yard Team Member, you’ll play a key role in stock handling, customer service, and maintaining high standards across external areas. You’ll support the wider team to ensure efficient operations and a positive experience for everyone who visits the store.

  • Delivering excellent customer service at the counter and across the yard
  • Receiving, checking, and loading stock accurately and efficiently
  • Supporting Point of Sale operations when required
  • Maintaining external areas to a high standard of presentation
  • Investigating stock discrepancies and supporting seasonal stock reviews
  • Participating in stocktaking and maintaining stock file integrity
  • Following health & safety procedures and UFAS regulations

About You

  • Experience in a yard, warehouse, or retail environment (preferred)
  • Familiarity with agricultural or countryside settings (beneficial)
  • A forklift truck licence (advantageous)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
  • Good IT skills and confidence using systems
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • Awareness of Data Protection / GDPR and Health & Safety standards
